Introducing Our Dancer Lineup | Dance for a Chance 2024

Youth Emergency Services’ (YES) annual Dance for a Chance fundraiser, “50 Years of YES,” will see dynamic members of the Omaha community paired with dance instructors to compete through carefully crafted dance routines—much like the hit reality series “Dancing with the Stars.” Meanwhile, these community members raise awareness and funds for YES among their personal and professional networks.

The 2024 Dance for a Chance dancer lineup includes the following community leaders:

  • Angel Carl, Angel Carl Marketing / YES Board of Trustees

Angel Carl’s love for all things Youth Emergency Services runs far and deep. She served as a member of YES’ Board of Directors for eight years followed by helping to lead their Board of Trustees for 16 years. When she’s not traveling to dance competitions with her daughter or managing Angel Carl Marketing, you’ll find her cuddled up with her husband, Dave, or with one of the family’s many rescue dogs.

Elie Dancour’s passion for helping others started in his career as a neurology specialist. With undefined years of experience in neurosurgery, Elie educates surrounding communities on the importance of neurohealth. In working with Youth Emergency Services, he plans to continue promoting awareness to the young people of Omaha. When he’s not advocating for neurohealth, Elie enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

After falling in love with salsa dancing while living in New Zealand, Arnold Gantuangco has dedicated his life to connecting with others through dance. In addition to working with Lindsay Corporation, he brings his love of dance to our community as an instructor for Tropical Salsa Nights—Omaha. Fueled by this passion for dancing, Arnold is thrilled to participate in Youth Emergency Services’ Dance for a Chance!

  • John Jensen, Union Pacific Railroad / YES Board of Directors

John Jensen has continued to grow his professional career by working as a director for Union Pacific Railroad. Also highly active in his community outside of work, John serves as treasurer for his neighborhood association, balancing the financial budgets while also assisting the landscape committee. Outside of work, John enjoys staying active by playing golf, hiking, and traveling to visit friends and family.

Taylor Johnson joined 6 News WOWT in Omaha after employing her dynamic storytelling abilities as a reporter at KCTV5 News in Kansas City. There she had the opportunity to cover an array of news, from President and First Lady Biden to the Kansas City Chiefs. Originally from Prince George’s County in Maryland, Taylor spent her younger years exploring the nearby Washington, D.C., where she learned about cultural and American history.

Susan Koenig is an attorney turned executive life coach, speaker, and writer. During her time as an attorney, she represented many vulnerable young people; she feels especially connected to Youth Emergency Services’ (YES) mission and grateful for the life-saving support YES provides to Omaha’s homeless youth. A self-proclaimed joyful dancer, Susan is thrilled to serve as a dancer for YES’ Dance for a Chance.

A long-term advocate for youth everywhere, Jackie Lane is proud to support Youth Emergency Services as a dancer for the organization’s Dance for a Chance event. Jackie currently works as the Business Development Specialist for Synbiotic Health and Wellness. In addition to her work for youth, Jackie advocates for causes pertaining to education, the arts, anti-bullying, and suicide prevention.
