Now that we’ve entered the month of August, Youth Emergency Services is gearing up for a busy season of community events—including our 50th Anniversary Board Reunion, the annual Golf Outing, and, of course, the Dance for a Chance fundraiser. Golf Outing Presented by Union Pacific: August 26, 2024 | 12 p.m. at Players Club at Deer Creek
Since 1995, Youth Emergency Services and Union Pacific Railroad have come together to organize the annual Golf Outing—a networking event for Union Pacific employees, partners, and vendors, also designed to help promote awareness and raise funds for YES. Dance for a Chance: October 17, 2024 | 6 p.m. at Astro Theatre
The annual Dance for a Chance fundraiser sees dynamic members of the Omaha community paired with dance instructors to compete through carefully crafted dance routines—much like the hit reality series “Dancing with the Stars.” Meanwhile, these community members raise awareness and funds for Youth Emergency Services among their personal and professional networks. When you support YES through our community events, you help us support Omaha’s young people through a safe space to call their own. From emergency shelter services to counseling and mental health support, YES offers a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each person who walks through our doors. Similarly, YES also offers a wide range of opportunities for you to get involved with our community events, from donating items for the Dance for a Chance silent auction to sponsoring our Golf Outing.
